Thursday, Jan. 17, Pleasant Valley – Stableford

It was off to Pleasant Valley today and we were off the first tee on time under sunny skies with a brisk wind.  The course was in very good condition but a good majority of the tee markers were on the blue tees.  That, combined with the wind, made scoring difficult as you will note.

Two flights today with the cut at handicap 20 and Kjeld Ravn topped the A Flight with 35 points ahead of Jesper Rasmussen in second on 34, while Stephen Cooper-Reade took third on a count back over Jan Lovegreen, both on 33 points.  Richard Kubicki placed fifth on a count back from Bob Taylor both with 29.

Svende Gaarde took the B Flight honours with the best score of the day, 36 points.  Susanne Gaarde was second on 33 points, Ulla Ravn third with 31, and Eddie Glinsek claimed fourth on a count back from Graham Buckingham, on 30 points.
