After just a few short conversations on Facebook, an English gentleman who imports new and used children’s books from the U.K. graciously went out of his way as well as out of his pocket to donate to our mutual charitable cause, the Fountain of Life and the Camillian Centre for children.
He reduced his price by 50% so the Jackalope could purchase the little goldmine of children’s learning books and donate them to these worthy charities through the Jesters Care for Kids.
The box contained over a hundred children’s books, with most being Walt Disney classics, such as 101 Dalmatians, Beauty and the Beast, The Emperor’s New Clothes, Dumbo, Tigger, Aladdin and several other all-time favourites, all children’s short versions of the books. The box also contained over 20 books by the world famous children’s author Roger Hargreaves, and a large selection of children’s learning books by many other various authors.
The books were 95% brand new, and the used ones were in new condition and will, I’m sure, be gladly accepted by the Camillian Centre both as a learning tool and for entertainment purposes.
