Pattaya sanitation workers cleaned up Yim Yom Beach after a heavy storm dumped waves of garbage near the Cozy Beach Hotel.
The southwesterly monsoon has brought a steady stream of rain, wind and high tides to Pattaya-area beaches and, with it, a tide of trash washed down from Bangkok.
Workers collected plastic bags, foam containers and bottles, plus natural debris like hyacinth, tree branches and wooden scraps.
