Jet Ski World Cup set for Dec. 7-10

More than 1,500 racers from around the world will compete at the Jet Ski World Cup in Pattaya Dec. 7-10.

Pattaya Deputy City Manager Wuthipol Charoenpol chaired a Sept. 14 preparation meeting for the tournament to be held in Jomtien with jet ski and flyboard association members and tourism officials.

Activities including registration, inspections, practice and qualifying rounds actually will begin on Dec. 5 with competition set to begin Dec. 7 with novices, juniors and amateurs.

Dec. 8 will see completion of those races and awards, along with a bikini contest. Dec. 9 will see the Pro Am, Pro Moto and Pro Freesytle competitions, along with a Seadoo EDM party in the evening.

The final day will host the final four Pro Moto races and the final round of the bikini contest, plus the awards presentations.
