Monday, March 14, Phoenix – Stableford

Jerry Waselenkof had a fabulous round today over the Mountain & Lakes course to keep him in contention for the March golfer of the month title.  Jerry won by six points ahead of his nearest challengers Laurence Harding and John Hughes with Laurence taking second place on a count-back.  Fourth place was settled on a count-back too as John Graham edged out Colin Greig.

Wednesday, March 16, Khaow Kheow – Stableford

A good turnout for Khaow Kheow as usual and, although the A & C course wasn’t in as good a condition as it usually is, a great round was still had by all.  There were clear winners in both flights and some decent golfers found themselves in the B Flight with the cut being set at a low handicap 13!

Geoff Cox won the A Flight by three points and Jack Robertson won the B Flight by four points.  John Hughes was lucky again to get into the minor places in the B Flight, squeezing out Paul Edgar to nick third place.

A Flight

1st Geoff Cox (13) 36pts

2nd Mashi Kaneta (11) 33pts

3rd Mark Stanley (13) 33pts

B Flight

1st Jack Robertson (22) 37pts

2nd Gary Warburton (15) 33pts

3rd John Hughes (16) 30pts

Near Pins:  Gordon Melia, Alan Sullivan, Roger Tuohy, Keith Smithson.

Friday, March 18, Pattana – Stableford

Considering quite a few Bunker Boy’s were playing in the Pattaya Sports Club Charity Classic there was a good showing for Pattana Sports Club.

It needed a count-back to separate the leaders with Paul Edgar sneaking ahead of Geoff Cox on the back nine and scratch golfer Keith Smithson took third place with a reasonable 32 points.

1st Paul Edgar (16) 34pts

2nd Geoff Cox (13) 34pts

3rd Keith Smithson (0) 32pts

Near Pins:  Roger Tuohy, Rab McDonald and Chris Cox (2).
