Thirty of the Father Ray Foundation’s newest residents were invited to an afternoon of fun and food recently at Azure Resort Pattaya.
For many of the thirty boys and girls who attended it was their first time in a swimming pool and for most the first time they were eating pizza.
The Azure Resort Pattaya is located on the ‘Dark Side’, but there is nothing dark about the place. The management and staff could not have been more welcoming and accommodating. Not only did they provide the pool, but also a swim coach for those who needed to learn.
After exhausting themselves in the pool the children sat down to a meal of fried chicken, noodles, ice cream and pizza, which was delicious.
Two of the young girls celebrated their birthdays, and an improvised plate of pastries arrived, complete with candles on top; for one young girl it was the first time anyone had ever sang Happy Birthday to her. Thanks to the management and staff at Azure Resort this is one birthday that this young lady will never forget.
