Events

The third annual Pattaya St. Patrick’s Day Parade 2013 will take place on Sunday, March 17, travelling from Alcazar Theatre along Beach Road and finishing at School No. 8 on South Pattaya Road.  From 2 p.m. there will be traditional Irish music performances, a beer competition and the opening ceremony held in the car park of Alcazar Theatre.  The parade itself gets underway at 3 p.m.

The 2013 Pattaya International Music Festival will take place along Beach Road and at Bali Hai Pier from March 22-24.  Regarded as one of the biggest international beach music festivals in Asia, the event will bring together a number of famous Asian and Thai artists and over 400,000 music fans are expected to attend over the three days.  For more information call the TAT Pattaya Office on 038 427 667.

Clubs and Associations

The next Pattaya City Expats Club (PCEC) meeting will be on Sunday, March 17.  Everyone is warmly welcome.  The speaker will be PCEC member Ray Woods who will talk about accomplishing his obsession to visit all 319 countries listed by the Travelers’ Century Club during a span of about 10 years; including his being in the first group of 10 Americans to be invited to visit North Korea.  The Club meets every Sunday morning at the Tavern by the Sea restaurant located on the north end of Beach Road (part of the Amari Orchid Resort).  The program starts as usual at 10:30 a.m. with a buffet breakfast available from 9 to 11 a.m.
