Pattaya police are hunting for a man who attacked a fruit vendor for supposedly having an affair with his wife.
Wasan Kasuwan, 47, ran into Pattaya Police Station with a swollen and bloody face Jan. 3.
He told officers he had stopped his fruit cart on Beach Road outside a 7-Eleven near Soi 7 when a younger man approached him and accused him of consorting with his wife.
The fruit seller denied any affair, but the angry suspect hit him in the face with a bottle and in the head with a wooden stick. The fruit man pulled his carving knife and the attacker ran away.
Police are investigating.
