Bangkok – Prime Minister Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha has visited Yasothon and Mukdahan provinces to follow up on an organic farming development project and hand over booklets for those qualified to utilize community land.
The project covers crops, livestock and fishing with an emphasis on organic rice which is the provinces’ largest agricultural output.
The Prime Minister commended residents for being the country’s largest producers of organic rice and said he hopes to help the industry expand production to 400,000 rai in the future. The government will provide support in the form of water management and funding through 2022.
