Rayong – A speedboat carrying 23 Chinese tourists capsized off Samet Island in Rayong province on Thursday (Feb 7).
All the passengers were rescued, but two had to be taken to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.
The Chinese tourists were on a cruise around the island when the boat crashed into a large underwater rock. No lives were lost, after officials were promptly notified of the accident and rushed to rescue the passengers.
The two tourists who were admitted to the hospital have already recovered and left.
