The Thai Meteorological Department warned fishermen to be cautious of thunderstorms this week.
The upper part of Thailand has been very hot sparking thunderstorms in the North, Northeast, Central and East.
From May 15, high pressure over Issan and the South China Sea will weaken while southeasterly winds will prevail across the country.
Thunderstorms, gusty winds, and hail are all possible.
In the East, it will be hot and windy with a chance of thunderstorms from Sa Kaeo to Chonburi with minimum temperatures of 23-27 °C, maximum temperatures 32-38 °C, southwesterly winds of 15-35 km/hr., and swells of 1-2 meters or more.
