Bangkok Hospital Pattaya provided first aid lessons to boat operators and lifeguards on Koh Larn.
Pattaya Deputy Mayor Ronakit Ekasingh opened the May 17 class cosponsored by city hall at the Pattaya Parasailing Club.
Club President Nattapong Manasom led the 50 operators taking the course, which covered basic first aid, CPR and automatic external defibrillator use.
Nurse Chotika Udomyad led the course aimed at improving safety for tourists by bolstering the cardiopulmonary resuscitation and first aid skills of parasailing operators, boat crews and lifeguards on the resort island.
