Pattaya village health volunteers got their first training on a new smartphone-based application designed to help them look up and record patient information.
Somchai Yenprayun, president of the Pattaya Village Health Volunteers Club, welcomed Pattaya Public Health Department nurse Patcharin Chinapas and Sriracha-based public-health technical officer Weerayuth Jantawong to the May 20 workshop.
The volunteers were introduced to the new SMART Volunteer app, which allows them to quickly and efficiently access insurance benefits and search health information.
Full training on the app will take place June 26-28 at the J Park Hotel in Mueang District.
