TAT Announces Thailand Article Contest Online

Bangkok – 3 May 2013, TAT announces the commencement of the Thailand Article Contest, to take place between 3 May – 5 July 2013. Participants will write articles on the subject, “WHERE IN THAILAND INSPIRED YOU THE MOST?” All articles are to include at least three hi-resolution images related to the content, which can be informative, entertaining or simply inspiring.

Contestants need simply register an account on www.tatnews.org and submit entries according to the rules stated on the website. Winners will be announced online on July 12, 2013 , and the lucky four winners will also be notified via email the same day.


Winners in this contest will be determined via social media sharing and page views: Articles will be judged based on the average of the number of people sharing it on Facebook, Twitter, and Google+, including the total number of page views

The 1st Place winner whose article receives the highest average of number of people sharing and viewing it will receive a CASH prize of USD1000 and a certificate by TAT naming them as the Thailand Article Contest Winner. Three Runner ups will receive USD500 each and a Thailand Article Contest Certificate

Articles describing “Where in Thailand Inspired You the Most,” written in English, are to be between 500 – 800 words; they must be original, unpublished articles written by the contestants about an inspirational experience they had in Thailand.

In addition to the cash prizes, the winners’ articles will certainly inspire others to explore and experience the many fascinating aspects of Thailand, as well as having their work shared globally by the TAT.

Although the contest officially ends July 5, 2013, at 11:59:00 p.m. Thailand Standard Time (“TST”), TAT urges all writers to get busy now so they can get their article online and have it shared in order to build up winning points. You can’t win if you don’t submit anything, and TAT realizes there are countless amazing stories out there, and looks forward to receiving many exciting and inspirational articles.
