Sattahip police arrested a Burmese fisherman for allegedly killing a compatriot over an unpaid debt for drugs.

Sor Go Aong, 42, was captured June 29 on an arrest warrant issued after the murder four days earlier in an apartment on Soi Samae San Pattana 3.

Police said So Go Aong used a 38-caliber pen gun to shoot a fellow fisherman known only as Kora in the chest before stashing the body inside a boat at the Kanasrinuwat Pier.

He was captured on security cameras and was seen by witnesses.

Police said Sor Go Aong confessed that he killed his countryman because Kora didn’t pay him the 10,000 he owed for methamphetamines he bought.

The suspect hid out in the jungle for two days before moving to a friend’s apartment where he was apprehended.
