Pricey home electronics were taken when a home on Pratamnak Soi 5 was burglarized Tuesday.
Yuthaphum Thanasirangkul, 37, said a 46-inch television, DVD player, Boss speakers and a notebook computer were taken. The total loss was estimated at 300,000 baht.
The Bangkok businessman said his sister’s family lived in his house, but they were away on holiday. A sliding door on the side of the house was left open, as was a bathroom window, leading Yuthaphum to speculate a construction worker he hired to do some home improvements may have duplicated the key.
Police examine the suspected entry and exit point of the burglars.
