Chonburi brought the provincial government to the Pattaya area, making it easy for residents to do official business and request assistance.
Gov. Pakarathorn Thienchai opened the July 22 fair with Banglamung District Chief Amanrt Charoensri.
About 90 public and private organizations took part, offering about 1,000 visitors survival bags, free eyeglasses, scholarships, discounted goods using welfare cards, haircuts and more.
Government officials also sat with residents to learn about any problems they have in daily life.
