Bangkok – All provinces across Thailand are organizing activities to celebrate His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua’s 67th birthday, on July 28. Exhibitions will be held in many areas for people to express loyalty and gratitude to His Majesty the King.
Chulalongkorn University and associates have jointly arranged an exhibition on the occasion of His Majesty the King’s birthday, at CentralWorld. The Culture Minister, Ittipol Khunpluem, presided over the opening ceremony of the exhibition which features His Majesty the King’s biography, paintings, photographs of the coronation ceremonies, a multimedia show, and art workshops. The exhibition continues until August 31.
At Chitralada Royal Villa in Dusit Palace, civil servants working in His Majesty the King’s personal units donated blood for a blood bank of Phramongkutklao Hospital and medical units of the Royal Thai Army.
At Nan Provincial Prison, free meals were given to inmates and less-fortunate people in the area. Consumer products and equipment for vocational training were given to female inmates and newborn bedding sets to those who have given birth in prison.
At the Huay Kang reservoir and park in Chiang Rai province, more than 200,000 aquatic creatures were released into natural water sources. A merit-making ceremony and a demonstration of buffalo rice harvesting were organized, with more than 200 people from various sectors participating in the event.
At the Thap Lan National Park in Nakhon Ratchasima, the provincial governor, Wichian Chantharanothai led more than 1,000 civil servants, volunteers, and students to plant trees at a 70-rai forest inside the national park to revive the forest.
