BANGKOK,19 August 2019  – The Department of Public Relations (PRD) has organized a Luk Thung Singing Championship, which offers a royal trophy from His Majesty the King and one million baht in prize money. There are now only six contestants left to compete in the final rounds on August 25 and September 1.

At the PRD auditorium, 6 out of 12 finalists in the Luk Thung Singing Championship were selected. The six finalists include Mr. Kecha Kosa from Kamphaeng Phet, Mr. Phakin Pitiphoowadechakun from Nakhon Ratchasima, Mr. Natthaphon Kaewwichit from Nakhon Ratchasima, Mr. Suraphat Bunanan from Rayong, Mr. Ahtiwat Changnoi from Surat Thani and Ms. Suphissara Srisuchin from Sukhothai.

People are invited to cheer for the contestants in the final rounds on August 25 and September 1 at the PRD auditorium. The winner will be awarded with the royally bestowed trophy from His Majesty the King and one million baht in prize money. The first runner-up will be awarded a trophy of honor from the Prime Minister and 500,000 baht in prize money. The second runner-up will be awarded a trophy of honor from the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission and 300,000 baht in prize money. The winners of three consolation prizes will each be awarded a plaque of honor from PTT and 100,000 baht in prize money.
