Bangkok – The Digital Economy and Society Minister, Buddhipongse Punnakanta, has attended a launch ceremony for the “Power of Kindness” caravan to help flood victims, with TOT also preparing consumer goods worth more than one million baht. They will be handed to flood-affected residents in the northeastern provinces of Roi Et and Khon Kaen. Relevant agencies have been instructed to ensure that people can use telecommunication services as usual and to repair damaged telecommunications equipment in flooded areas immediately.

The TOT President, Monchai Noosong, said his organization has prepared measures to help its customers. The TOT Mobile payment deadline has been extended to September 30 this year, while prepaid customers will receive seven days of free services without having to register with the telecom operator.

For landline and broadband internet users who have registered with the telecom operator, their payment deadline for this month has been extended for 30 more days from the date of payment indicated on their bills.
