PTT-PAT sign MoU on emergency rescue

BANGKOK, 13 June 2013 The Port Authority of Thailand (PAT) and the PTT Public Company Limited have joined hands to uplift the quality and effectiveness of rescue missions. 

The memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed by the PTT and the PAT aimed to enable both organizations to further improve their capability in providing rescue in emergency situations.

After the signing ceremony, both parties said the move would help further strengthen their ability to compete in accordance with the government’s policy, focusing on the development and efficiency of resources used, in order for the country to gain maximum benefit from this sector.

According to the PTT, the signing also showcased the country’s potential in providing an effective rescue team in emergency situations in addition to helping build confidence among the communities surrounding the PTT and the Port Authority of Thailand.
