Thammasat and Bumrungrad Hospital sign MoU on international medical education

BANGKOK, June 13th 2013 Thammasat University and Bumrungrad Hospital have signed a Memorandum of understanding (MoU) on international medical education. 

Assoc. Prof. Kummal Kumar Pawa MD, Acting Rector of Chulabhon International College of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Somkit Lertpaithoon, Rector and Vice President of Thammasat University Council, and Prof. Sin Anuras MD, Bumrungrad Hospital Medical Director took part in the signing ceremony.

The main purpose of the MoU is to establish Princess Chulabhorn International Medical Institution, of which the role is to conduct academic courses in foreign languages to lay the foundations for an integrated ASEAN, and to act as the center for International medical learning.

The institution will also take part in international student and professor exchanges with participating universities, and work with each other to bring academic research, seminars, discussions and medical science to new standards.
