The Father Ray Foundation’s SOS Rice campaign returns Dec. 1 with department stores across Pattaya accepting donations of rice and cash for charity.
Pattaya mayoral advisor Rattanachai Sutidechanai announced the fundraising drive Nov. 21 with Father Ray President Rev. Father Paul Sukhum Thanasingha, Nongprue Deputy Mayor Anak Pattanangam and Mike Group Chairman Surat Mekavarakul.
In its 23rd year, the drive hopes to collect much of the 70 tons of rice it uses to feed its 850 children for the year.
Donation boxes and stands will be available at local locations of Tesco Lotus, Big C, Siam Makro, Central Department Stores, Foodland, Harbor Mall, Foodland and local outdoor markets.
