BANGKOK, 3 July 2013 The ‘V for Thailand’ group has announced their decision to temporarily halt their planned rallies, via their facebook page.

The group stated that during the suspension of activities, their members will reconsider their political stances. Protests are set to resume only when all of its members can agree on a unified vision.

The statement, posted on the social network site, further said that the movement is intended to support social and political improvement without backing any particular ideology.

Although little is known about political allegiances of ‘V for Thailand’, the group’s movement under the white masks has been growing and expanding its activities in Bangkok and other parts of the country.

The group’s Facebook page says it represents people’s power urging peaceful opposition to what they have dubbed as parliamentary monopoly and corruption.
