The minister urged for the expansion of the first Thai-Myanmar friendship bridge in preparations for economic growth in the region.

Mr Charupong on Friday met with officials and leaders of local administrative organizations in Mae Sot to follow up on the progress of the AEC-related projects based on the government’s border development policy. The minister said the government would expedite the expansion of the first Thai-Myanmar friendship bridge ahead of the construction of the second bridge located in the same district of Mae Sot.
