Pierre Andre Pelletier, General Manager of the Amari Watergate Bangkok, was graciously permitted to have an audience with HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn to present her with a cheque for 1.4 million baht. The funds were part of the 3.3 million baht raised from the 15th Amari Watergate & BMW Thailand Midnight Run and the 16th Aerobic Marathon on AIDS to support Chalerm Prakiat School in Lamphun province. 1.4 million baht was donated to the Baan Gerda Project in Lopburi province and 500,000 baht was already donated to support the Baht for a Better Life Project.
