World Hindu Economic Forum held to boost Asia’s economic growth

BANGKOK, 13 Aug 2013, More than 500 Hindi business owners and entrepreneurs have attended the World Hindu Economic Forum (WHEF) 2013, in order to boost Asia’s economic growth to the World’s number-one ranking in GDP. 

Mr. Susheel Kumar Saraff, President of the Saraff Group, and as President of the Indian–Thai Chamber of Commerce, disclosed that Hindi business owners in Asia had the honor of hosting the 2nd Annual World Hindu Economic Forum in Bangkok. The meeting established a network for expanding businesses in various fields to realize the notion of “mutual help” in each others’ supporting industries. With the core objective of boosting economic growth in ASEAN countries and the global economy, the forum would push Asia’s GDP to become the world’s highest growth rate.

1 in 6 of the World’s population are Hindi, accounting for a billion people; 40–50 of whom have been listed among the World’s 500 wealthiest individuals. Additionally, many other participants showed potential in future business expansion, adding that the Hindu population used to account for 35% of the global GDP in the past 3,000 years.
