Thai travelers arrive at Suvarnabhumi Airport, enter state quarantine

51 Thais from Malaysia and 47 more from Doha, Qatar, placed in the quarantine system for 14 days observation.

BANGKOK – A group of Thai people from Malaysia and Qatar arrived in Thailand on Saturday and have entered the quarantine system at a place provided by the government.



51 Thais from Malaysia arrived at Suvarnabhumi Airport on a Malaysia Airlines’ special flight organized by the Malaysian government.

After being screened at the International Disease Control Checkpoint, military officers from the Royal Thai Armed Forces Headquarters led by Gen. Pariphat Phalasin, Deputy Chief of Joint Staff, led them to the quarantine center.



Then, military officers from the Royal Thai Armed Forces Headquarters accompanied a group of 47 Thais who had arrived on Qatar Airways’ flight QR7511 from Doha, Qatar, to a quarantine center not far from the airport.

This morning, Mr Anutin Charnvirakul, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Public Health, inspected a quarantine center for those who return from foreign countries at Kamphaengsaen Flying Training School, Kamphaeng Saen District, Nakhon Pathom. (NNT)
