A Pakistani couple was arrested for stealing 35,000 baht from a currency-exchange booth in Pattaya.
Muhammad Ali Fareed, 28, and Naseem Muhammad Ali, 19, were taken into custody at a car-rental agency on Thepprasit Road Aug. 9 by Pattaya Police and Thai Immigration officers.
Security camera footage showed the male reaching in and grabbing the money whilst the female distracted the clerk at a Tops Supermarket currency booth.
