BANGKOK, MAY 1 2011 (NNT) – Thousands of laborers attended National Labor Day even though rain was pouring. They also asked the government to control the increasing price of goods and to increase the minimum wages.
Groups of workers in the Labor Day parade from 12 labor unions attended the National Labor day at the Royal Plaza with each representative of the labor unions demanding the government to help control the increasing price of goods which caused their cost of living to rise as well as to increase their minimum wages.
