BANGKOK, 1 May 2011 (NNT)-Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva said in his last weekly television address that the Government had always been supportive of the labor sector, making sure that they were not left out on workplace benefits.
On the occasion of the Labor Day today, the Prime Minister said the continuous efforts in protecting the rights of labors in their workplace had been realized in the past two years.Workers raising their newborns at work are entitled to tax reduction scheme.
Meanwhile, he said the minimum wage would be increased as soon as next month to help laborers cope with rising costs of living. More labor bills will also be passed in a bid to raise their working standards
