We had a smaller field today with 15 golfers, six of which scored 35 points to tie for first. Let the count-backs begin! Brad Sproxton managed a B9 of 21 points to take the frame, Alex Godinez a B9 of 20 for second and Peter Lenoury a B9 of 18 for third. Missing out were Jeff Gortler with 17, Gordon Kerr and John Emmerson with 16.
The near pin winner on # 16 was Suzi Lawton. Thanks to all that attended.
Wednesday, April 27, Greenwood A & C – Medal

Twenty-eight players showed up to contest this month’s medal comp at Greenwood. We were assigned the A & C combination and stood on the first tee eyeing the skies for the inevitable shower that was sure to come.
Only one man in the field held 2 of the coveted Monthly Medal winner’s shirts. The third came a few hours (and a rain delay) later as Ian Rippey fired a fantastic gross 78 off the stick and was 3 shots clear of the next competitor Jon Haugen. A count-back was needed to settle third and fourth with Gordon Kerr edging out Noel Pittard.

Ron Gamey, visiting from Hua Hin, was our winner today with a fine 40 points off the white tees. The quiet Canuck Chuck Anderson was second with 39 points which included 2 chip-ins. Jeff Cordiero left a lot of putts out there and finished third. Noel Pittard concluded a consistent week with another fourth.
