BANGKOK, Nov 4 – Democrat MP Suthep Thaugsuban has announced his readiness to blow the whistle and lead anti-Amnesty Bill demonstrators from Samsen railway station to stage widespread protests in the capital  today.

He did not disclose the routes the Samsen protesters would follow but said he has coordinated with several groups which have been holding separate rallies.

It is unnecessary that various groups will be merged as long as they are against the Amnesty Law, he said, assuring that the political activity will be within the law.

Mr Suthep would not predict if the march from Samsen might lead to clashes with the pro-government Red Shirt group.

“We are not fighting against Red Shirt people; we are fighting against the government for insisting to pass the controversial law,” he said.

The Democrat-led rally continued at Samsen for the fourth straight day last night with party members going on stage to lash out at the government and severely criticise the Amnesty Bill.
