A Russian woman was injured after being hit by a motorbike while crossing Second Road.
Tatiana Evseenko, 25, suffered cuts to the head and leg injuries from being run over by the Yamaha Fino driven by 33-year-old Yodchai Sirichokchai Oct. 29. The accident occurred near the McDonald’s on Second Road at Soi 6, just a block from a non-functioning pedestrian crossing light.
The Buriram native told police the couple were walking in the middle of the road after midnight and that Evseenko was winged by a passing bike, spinning her around and directly into his path. She fell and he ran over her legs.
Police planned to interview the victim once she recovers sufficiently at the hospital.
