On Saturday 26th October the 2nd Annual Family Fun Day was held at Horseshoe Point with the children from the Hand to Hand Foundation being special guests. This event was arranged by 1halo (a group of local businessman) and supported by Shenanigans, Q-Cars, New Asia Pacific, Allied Builders, Asia Pacific Pensions, Acorn distribution, New Nordic & The Devere Group.
A special mention to Russell from Mix 88.5 who did another great job compering the day. Dan Cheeseman had many activities for the children & adults happening in the popular Inspire Zone, featuring one of the best rock bands in Pattaya who did a great job entertaining the crowd. Paul’s Fish & Chips fed the staff on the day.
The day finished with the children from hand to hand having a running race with the winner winning a bike.
No cost was spared to treat the children from Hand to Hand to one of the most amazing days of their lives which was evident by the huge smiles on their faces. The children had free hamburgers and hot dogs courtesy of Shenanigans and all of the children were given tickets to play games, ride on the toy train and have fun on the bouncy castle. The magic show was another entertaining feature for the children. Part of the adventure was a ride to and from the venue in a huge double-decker bus.
It was a family fun day in every sense of the way with an activity to keep everyone entertained. All day there was a competitive cricket match between the Australian and English teams, as well as 5 a side football games for the children. At the half time interval the children had the opportunity to play some games such as an egg and spoon race, wheelbarrow race and tug of war. At the end of day the English team were the victorious champions to level the series 1-1.
The raffle had an incredible range of prizes and generated a lot of excitement with the 1st place winner becoming the proud owner of a new motor bike. The day finished with the children from hand to hand having a running race with the winner winning a bike.
The proceeds of the day went to help support the Hand to Hand Foundation and the Sawang Boriboon Foundation, and this year we raised 505,000 baht with great support from BBX.
A big thanks to all of the sponsors and supporters who made this day so special!
