The world’s best riders will race for a top prize of 1 million baht in each Pro category this coming weekend (6-8 December 2013) at the 2013 King’s Cup Jet-Ski World Cup Grand Prix event being held at Jomtien beach in Pattaya.
The fleet of high performance tuned-up jet-ski boats, some capable of accelerating from 0-100km/h in 6 seconds, will be piloted by a relative who’s who of the jet ski world, all looking to end the year on a winning note and pick up the largest ever cash prize for this event and also lay their hands on the most coveted trophies in jet-ski racing, graciously donated by HM the King of Thailand.

Registration and free practice were due to take place on Wednesday and Thursday with qualifying on Friday. Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 7-8 are reserved for the main race days when the categories that will be contested include Pro Ski Open, Pro Sport GP, Pro R/A 800 Open, Pro Freestyle and Pro R/A Open.
The event will also feature a Miss Bikini contest at the weekend and will be broadcast live on ESPN Starsports to millions of viewers worldwide.
