BANGKOK, 26 January 2014 The Ministry of Transport has designated five parking zones to facilitate the motorists who want to take public transportation during the anti-government rallies in Bangkok.

The five parking zones are in Bangkok and the vicinity and each has many parking lots where the motorists can reach public transportation conveniently. There are shuttle buses to bring them from the parking lots to bus stops, train stations and piers. The ministry also increases public transportation services during rush hours.

The public are encouraged to visit the ministry’s website www.mot.go.th or call the hotline 1356 for useful information about public transportation connections and traffic closure.
