To mark this important day, however, officials of WHA Industrial Development, in partnership with the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (IEAT) and industrial estate customers, visited two schools in neighboring provinces – Ban Khlong Kram School in Pluak Daeng, Rayong; and Ban Hup Bon School, in Chonburi’s Sriracha. They distributed a substantial supply of food, milk and snacks to ensure that the children have a healthy diet and good nutrition so they can concentrate on their studies. School supplies were also delivered in order to promote the students’ creativity and enhance their learning skills.

WHA Group’s CSR program is an important part of the company’s existence. It works with the communities in various ways and initiates activities that produce an overall positive impact on society. For many years, WHA Group has been working with different organizations and local offices to engage in community relations that can help build a strong, productive society and ensure a better life for the residents.

Every year, National Children’s Day is celebrated throughout the country on the second Saturday of January, to honor the youth, the most valuable resource of the nation. However, this year, due to concerns of a new wave of Covid-19 and the threat of another outbreak in certain areas, officials decided to call off all activities.

A safe community for all

WHA Group cares for the security and safety of its community residents. WHA donated funds to ensure the proper maintenance of electronic signs in Chom Phon Chao Phra Ya Sub District, located in Pluak Daeng, Rayong. These signs, located in the vicinity of WHA Eastern Seaboard Industrial Estate 1 (WHA ESIE 1), share important up-to-date environmental information, announcements and alerts.

WHA Group’s CSR program aims to give back to society in ways that could improve the standard of living of its neighbors and impact their lives. The company makes it a point to involve its management, staff, industrial estate customers as well as other stakeholders who would like to be part of creating a strong bond with the community and providing a secure future for the next generation.
