The 18th edition of the eagerly awaited annual Pattaya Sports Club Charity Classic Tournament was held on 21 March 2014 at the Burapha Golf Resort.  This event takes weeks of planning and preparation and the Golf Chairman, Joe Mooneyham, worked very hard to make this a most successful event which, judging by the comments of those playing, he succeeded big time.

The competition was a 2-person scramble with prizes on every hole and also for the top 10 pairs.  2 days after the official announcement the list was full and Joe had to increase the field from 144 players to 160 and yet there was still a waiting list.

In addition to awards on every hole there was also a raffle with many prizes which included green fees for 4 people from the EGA golf courses, golf clubs from Pattaya City Golf including a Taylor Made SLDR Driver, a Taylor Made Burner Driver from Mick Beresford, 2-ball Putter from Eddie Bielby, 2 bottles of Johnnie Walker from Tara Pattana International School, 1 dozen Titleist Pro V1x golf balls from Kyle Roadley and a 60/40 split for the final raffle ticket drawn.  Another great supporter of this event was Chris Balzli of Sinto Shirts who provided 150 shirts free of charge.

Singha Corp came through again with tremendous support for this event and provided Sanvo Sports energy drinks to everyone prior to teeing off as well as providing golf bags and shoes to the winners, plus shirts and umbrellas to the other top 10 winners.  They also furnished free drinks during the presentation, which as you might guess proved to be very popular with everyone.  The presentation was held at the Burapha Clubhouse and was accompanied by a tremendous buffet.
