PSC golf from The Caddyshack Golf

Monday 17th March at Green Valley was a good day for Canada when Don Hachey (H/cap 18) edged to a win with 38 points.  The runner-up was Paul Walia (15) with 37 points, third place went to Ted Gardner (8) with 36 and fourth to John Knight (22) with 35 points.

Wednesday 19th took us to Plutaluang Navy Course where the tees, greens and bunkers were all in good shape, but when are they going to put in a proper fairway sprinkler system?  The only player to better his handicap was Phonsie McGahan (7) who took first place with 38 points.  Our Canadian friend Don Hachey played well again and took second with 36 points while Jason Barnett (4) finished third with 35, just ahead of Ted Gardner on 33.

Quite a few of our regulars are heading home before the end of the month and so we decided to bring the 2-man scramble forward one week to Friday 21st, since everyone enjoys this format.  Back to back victories went to the team of Jack Butler and Ted Gardner who carded a gross 71 to give a winning 66.4 net score.  Close behind with 66.8 was our septuagenarian team of Phonsie McGahan and Bruce Tollitt while third place went to Jason Barnett and Phil Cawse with a net 68 and fourth to Dave Hester and Peter Henderson with a net 69.2.

Near pin prizes went to Les Charles, Don Hachey, Phil Cawse and Leif Petterson.

Note:   The Caddyshack is located on Soi 17 off  3rd Road or soi 8 off Thepprasit Road.  All golfers are welcome and reservations are taken at 081 865 3104.
