KALASIN, 7 April 2014 – The Kalasin Municipality has organized an event to provide 36 community leaders with information on traffic and road safety.
The move aims to provide locals and networks with a road safety conscience to lessen road accidents, especially during the seven dangerous days of the Songkran festival.
The event was well received by 36 community leaders while guest speakers from the provincial police station and the provincial Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Office also participated in the activities to provide knowledge and guidance on road safety.
Kalasin Mayor Jaruwat Boonperm also handed out helmets to all of the participating members of the program.
