Rainwater runoff and floods carry litter discarded carelessly by Pattaya residents into their neighborhood. Some of it originates at nearby construction sites. Some is the remnant of burned furniture or household items.

There once was a sign that warned people not to dump trash outside Chokchai Village. It did no good and long has disappeared. Residents are hoping the litter will one day do the same.
