Haven Consultants Monthly
The Haven Consultants Monthly was played at Green Valley Wednesday, with four groups playing on a somewhat drier course than last week, even the bunkers were an improvement.
The day was fine but very hot. We had a couple of casualties, including our sponsor just being back from England and the heat took its toll on him big time.
The course was in pretty good shape considering the amount of rain it has endured, with just some spots here and there that were a bit soggy.
The scoring was not pretty, either. When Captain Cripple finally got it right the presentation went like this: Selwyn Wegner took 3rd place with a net 74, Keith Allen took 2nd place and the Haven Trophy with a net 73, and Mikael Anderssen took 1st place with a net 72.
Wayne Cotterell had the only two of the day.

Billabong still has to play the July and August medals, so we will play Green Valley for the July trophy in the second week of October, and play Phoenix on the last Wednesday for the October trophy. We will do something similar in November for August.
