Banglamung District Chief Wuttisak Singhadecho and the district’s Thai Red Cross officials brought identified cards to homebound residents as well as cash and supplies to one disabled local.
The district chief and Banglamung Red Cross workers visited ten homes across Nong Plalai, Pong and Takhiantia subdistricts Oct. 6.
The house calls to make identification cards for disabled and elderly residents have been a staple of local government service for some time, Wuttisak said.
The final stop was to the home of Anurat Thongwit, who has been unable to walk since birth. The Red Cross provided a bag of food and basic necessities and an unspecified amount of cash.
