Phang Nga ready for Southern SMEs’ locally made product fair

Phang Nga, 4 June 2014 -The Southern Thai local product Fair is expected to boost the economy of Phang Nga and neighboring provinces in the south of Thailand with healthy income from the event.

Mr. Chaiwat Sirinupong, Vice Governor of Phang Nga province, together with Mr. Wattana Thanasakchareon Chairman of the National Economic and Social Development Board (nesdb) as well as Mr. Sutthichok Tongchumnoom, the chairman of the Phang Nga Chamber of Commerce have held a press conference on the SMEs’ local product fair, in Phang Nga.

The fair will be filled with over 150 shops from the southern region of Thailand offering their products at special prices. The fair will feature different zones including locally made and marketed products such as local seasoned fruits, and a demonstration of making Batik garments.

The event is intended to help SME entrepreneurs in Phuket, Krabi, Trang and Phang Nga promote their businesses.
