Khon Kaen in northeast Thailand bans alcohol sales in restaurants Jan 1-7

Khon Kaen Communicable Diseases Committee has issued an urgent order prohibiting the sales of alcoholic beverages in restaurants for 7 days, from 1 January to 7 January 2022. The order came after the Omicron clusters emerged from restaurants serving alcoholic drinks in provinces of the upper northeastern region including Khon Kaen Province. (NNT)
