A protruding iron bar has become a traffic hazard on Central Road.
The rod, sticking up from a damaged manhole cover opposite the Foodland supermarket, allegedly caused accidents before it was reported Feb. 10.
It caused at least one car to blow a tire when the vehicle rolled over the meter-long grate.
Residents want it fixed quickly.
