Paiboon Billsalem and Krittanat Pungmuangthong together with municipality staff distribute hygienic provisions including dried food to bedridden senior citizens.

After her husband Boonsong suffered a stroke 8 months ago, Sakol Rungsangthongkul realized that a person who goes through this tragic ordeal is incapable of caring for oneself as he or she could do before being hit with this serious life-threatening medical condition.

She said that the first 3 months of her husband’s illness were very difficult for him. Boonsong could not move and he needed frequent changes of adult diapers and sanitary napkins. But after getting treatment and therapy, Boonsong’s condition improved slightly and he is semi mobile again.

Seeing firsthand what happens to people suffering from a stroke, Sakol became aware that there were many people in the community who were in similar physical conditions, she decided to do something to help them to alleviate some of their suffering.

Together with her family she donated adult diapers and sanitary napkins to the Nongprue Municipality to be further distributed to sick and bedridden people in the community.
