Monday, May 30, Green Valley – Stableford
1st Henry O’Brien (18) 40pts
2nd John Emmerson (8) 40pts
3rd Allen Whitingham (13) 37pts
4th Terry Wagner (18) 36pts
Henry O’Brien returned from an extended vacation that apparently did him well, firing a B9 22 points and edging John Emmerson who had B9 20. Allan Whitingham had a fine 37 points to finish alone in third.

Terry Wagner, with a brand new set of clubs, scored 36 points for fourth spot. Terry was still taking the plastic off his clubs while waiting to tee off. Fresh set and he played his to his H/cap, well done.
Wednesday, June 1, Phoenix – Stableford
1st Micheal Mier (10) 38pts
2nd Henry O’Brien (18) 32pts
3rd Don Bland (4) 32pts
We had a smaller group today with 11 players. Micheal Mier put together a fine 38 points on some fast and bumpy greens while Henry O’Brien finished second, again the winner on count-back, edging Don Bland with a B9 18 to Don’s B9 15.
Friday, June 3, Mountain Shadow – Stableford
1st Jim Sykes (9) 34pts
2nd Bob Newell (5) 33pts
3rd Nigel Flanagan (12) 33pts
Mountain Shadow greens and tight fairways continued to level out the playing field for our outing there. 11 players and not one got to their H/cap.
Jim Sykes took the frame with a 34 point score. Once again the dreaded count-back was required; Bob “Seamless” Newell and Nigel “Colts Colts Colts” Flanagan were tied on B9 18. Seamless had a B6 14 to Nigel’s B9 12 to take second and third respectively. Thanks to all for joining us and we look forward to seeing you in the weeks to come.
