BANGKOK, 25 August 2014 – The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) Index opened the week on a positive note, and ended at 1,563.13.
Thailand’s SET Index went up 6.16 points, or 0.40%, on turnover of 41.158 billion baht. Nearly all sectors closed positive with Commerce sector led the gains with 218.55 points, or 0.70% to 31,654.06.
The Bluechip SET 50 Index closed positive at 1,048.53, up 4.98 points or 0.48%, while accounting for 19.113 billion baht.
The MAI Index also closed positive at 627.33, up 6.29 points, or 1.01%, while accounting for 6.975 billion baht.
